Artist
Bio - Sarah M. Boling
Sarah
was born in southern California in 1983.
She relocated to Oklahoma with her family
in 1991. She got her first camera when she
was nine. Her father, Joe Devine, was a
hobby photographer and often took family
pictures in front of their fireplace. He
influenced Sarah to pursue photography as
a career.
After
graduating high school, Sarah landed a job
with portrait photographer, Karen Moore.
Karen influenced her early photography and
pushed her to be always learning and improving
herself. During that time she also studied
with artist, Robin Smith and attended Texas
Professional Photography School. She became
involved in photographic organizations like
Metro Professional Photographers Association
and Professional Photographers of Oklahoma.
Seeking
artistic freedom and a name of her own,
Sarah started her own photography company
in 2003. She also dedicated more time to
promoting her fine art photography. Sarah
considers photography to be essential to
her expression as an artist. Her photographs
are an inspiration to be shared with the
world. She is always evolving and changing
as an artist and feels that her journey
is only beginning.
"In
the silence of thought, my mind finds the
greatest journey if I will only take the
time to explore..."
